Artist Therapy
Kendall Bruns Can Help

Cincinnati, OH – May, 2003 – Artist Kendall Bruns will be treating participants with therapeutic performances at SSNOVA, 2260 Central Parkway, Cincinnati, OH, on Thursday, May 29th, Friday, May 30th, and Saturday, May 31st. His performances will be in conjunction with a group exhibition, Nowhere Better Than This Place, organized by SSNOVA and Sue Spaid.

Kendall will be seeing patients for individual or group therapy sessions during the three-day exhibition. He will be scheduling appointments in advance as well as accepting walk-ins for what he describes as, “therapy sessions where I will do my best to act as a trained therapist even though I have no training other than what I have seen on television and in movies. I’m interested in how effective these sessions might be despite my ignorance of conventional practices.”

Viewers at the gallery will be able to see Kendall meeting with patients but unable to hear their confidential conversations. Kendall will attempt to help anyone with any sort of problem they’d be interested in addressing.

Nowhere Better Than This Place will be open at SSNOVA May 29-31st from noon until midnight each day. Kendall’s office hours will be Thursday from 6-11pm, Friday from 6-8pm and Saturday from 12-8pm. Hours may be extended to accommodate demand. Anyone interested in scheduling an appointment should contact Kendall via email, kendall@kendallbruns.com, or call (513) 305-8399.
