Artboat2003
Kendall Bruns displays art... on a boat... in Chicago.

On Saturday, May 10 2003, at 2P.M., a group of thirty young galleries, collectives, project spaces and artists from Chicago, various cities throughout the Midwest and elsewhere will join together to present their own work and works by contemporary artists. This unique one-time, mobile exhibition will take place in the midst of ArtChicago, an international art fair. Held aboard the Anita Dee II, a 140-foot, 3-level yacht docked at Navy Pier, passengers need only walk a few steps from the ArtChicago main exhibition floor to board the vessel. The exhibition will last a mere three hours: patrons will be taken on a cruise of Lake Michigan and enjoy complimentary cocktails and hors d'oeurves as they survey the styles and philosophies of the most momentous and underrepresented selection of young and emerging artists' work available outside the Navy Pier complex.

Artist, Kendall Bruns will be one of the artists on board representing Cincinnati's Warsaw Project Space. Kendall will be displaying work that he has created in collaboration with local artist, Autumn Schrader.

Kendall says, "Artboat is a unique event that provides an opportunity to view and share art in an unusual context at a time when there's lots of art activity in Chicago."

Tickets to Artboat2003 have sold out.
