Bear In Mind
Art & Extreme Animals at SSNOVA


Cincinnati, OH - July 9, 2002 - Giant animal crackers, blue bunnies, aliens and experimental electronic music from North Carolina will be presented at
a group artist show held at SSNOVA, 2260 Central Parkway, on Tuesday, July 23rd from 8-11 PM.

The artists' works focus on issues of memory, free association and animals. Artists participating in the exhibit include Kendall Bruns, Corinne Grosse, Matt Mooney, Quincy Robinson and members of the Paper Rad art collective. Sculpture, drawings, and video from these artists will be presented in the galleries adjacent to the performance space where North Carolina1s Extreme Animals and local groups Autoshape and A Grey Space will be performing.

Extreme Animals is a band that consists of drums, electronic keyboards and advanced feedback. The result is a nice combo of 3Gatorade noise and cartoon booty beats2.

Autoshape creates experimental electronic 3music so awesome: you die2.

A Grey Space has been described as an 3art scum trio2.

This show will be a one night only event.

About Kendall Bruns

Kendall Bruns is an artist in Cincinnati, Ohio, whose work has been
presented in national juried exhibitions and international publications,
preserved in the Rhizome.org art base, and displayed at numerous local
galleries and art venues. He earned a BFA at the Art Academy of Cincinnati
with an emphasis in sculpture. Kendall¹s active pursuit of the arts is
materialized through many forms of creative expression including music,
digital art, graphic design, sculpture and video.
